Post-Result CBSE counselling begin from 25th May;  T. Premkumar appointed for Kuwait

The Post-Result CBSE counselling will begin from 25th May and continue till 08th June daily from 8 am to 10 pm. For the 18th consecutive year CBSE will be providing counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results. The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which is carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student’s population and geographical spread. CBSE Tele counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and Principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India. It is a voluntary, free of cost service provided by the participants.

During the 2nd Phase, 58 experts including Principals, trained counsellors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and few psychologists will be available for Tele-Counselling.

Out of these, 49 are from India and 09 counsellors from outside India including Nepal, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Dammam, Oman), U.A.E (Sharjah, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah), and Kuwait are participating in this program.

Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal of India Educational School (Bhavans) is given the task to support children and parents in Kuwait who may need support during the second phase as well. Premkumar can be contacted on 6623 1493 between 8pm and 10pm during the above said period says a press release from CBSE

Counselling facility for Specially Abled Children has also been arranged to take care of the needs of special children with regard to the exam result. Techniques to cope with result related anxiety are available at the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in by accessing icon Helpline.
