I visited Switzerland with my family in the month of May and during that time it was spring season in Switzerland. Our trip was fully planned and we had made apartment hotel booking 3 weeks in advance prior of departing from Kuwait.

We reached Zurich airport on week end and from there we manage to go to our apartment hotel which was located on the mountain .

The world do have a lot of countries and places which the people dream for visiting, like other people I do had a wish of visiting one place for which people who have seen it says that the Heavens Falls there. This means that the place is as beautiful, attractive and eye catching which has become one of the most desirable places in the world for me and for millions of people all over the globe. The country which has such worth in the world is Switzerland.

I visited Switzerland during my summer break it is the place I have loved. It was a family trip. How can I forget? I had heard quite a few facts about the country also had seen many pictures of the scenery of the country. However being there is nothing compared to looking at pictures or watching the places of interest on television. This is the place I love so much. The scenery in the country was marvelous. The air was fresh and we enjoyed the cool breeze blowing. There were huge pine and oak trees in some parts of the mountainous region. In the other parts the forest had been cleared to make way for housing and grazing land. Some cows were roaming about freely or grazing. The cows had bells in their necks with an impression of the Swiss flag on it. The sound of the bells was so calming and added to beauty of the place. 'Jingle, jingle' they rang while the cows were walking, and the tourists stopped to have a glance of the cows. Another fact I never knew about Switzerland was that it had quite a few lakes. The water in the lakes was crystal clear. Spring was on its way which is why the lake was not frozen. However fishing and boating facilities were absent because of safety reasons. You could still enjoy the picture perfect view.

The country is full of exciting and breathtaking landscape and mountains and that is generally peopled do visit it in summers or near summers because heavy snowfall is being observed here in winters which can be dangerous. Switzerland is being situated in the Western and Central Europe on the world map where they are being bordered by Germany in the North, France in the West, from South they share the borders with Italy and in the East they have the common boundary with Austria and Liechtenstein. The beauty of the place can be predicted from its surroundings that it is surrounded by 4 of the world’s most beautiful and desirable countries of the world.

This is the place which is being equipped by extreme scenic beauty and peace for which people love and dream to spend their vacations here so that they can get entertained with such complementing combination of greenery, glaciers, valleys and Plateau. Switzerland is being geographically divided by the Alps, the Swiss Plateau and the Jura which is the beauty of this place. High glaciers with the best lakes and rivers scenery in the world, Swiss is one of the most developed country of the world where the economy is very strong and stable mainly due to the immense earning and high GDP mainly due to the tourism industry which is contributing the most in the country’s development and growth.

Two cities of Switzerland are considered to be one of the most beautiful creations of the nature which are Geneva and Zurich. These are two Global Cities where the life is too good to be simple and advanced. The one who has the dream of visiting Switzerland cannot accomplish it without visiting and seeing these cities their where we can find anything we want, and the additional factors which have further enhanced the desirability of this country is that they are one of the few countries of the world where the law and order situation is more than perfect, as these places are far away from terrorism and brutality of the human beings.

The places which we visited are as follows;

1)The Jungfrau Region

The Jungfrau Region offers spectacular scenery to bewitch the eye. The white peaks of three towering mountains – the Jungfrau, Monch, and Eiger – contrast with the green valleys and meadows in this Alpine wonderland. Enjoy the fresh mountain air while visiting this place.

2)Chateau de Chillon, Montreux

The town of Montreux is located in the heart of the Swiss Riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva. Walk by the lakeside and explore the Chillon Castle, or take a tour of the tower, courtyards, dungeons, and rooms of this 11th-century castle. It's the most frequently visited historical building in Switzerland, where its numerous rooms house weaponry, frescoes, and furniture. The castle can be reached by walking along the lakefront or taking the train or trolley bus.

3)Swiss National Park, Zernez

The Swiss Natural Park is 169 square kilometres of mountains and woodland. It is home to a variety of wildlife such as large red deer, chamois, ibexes, and marmots. Walk around its trails and admire its breathtaking views.

4)Geneva

Hugging the shores of lovely Lake Geneva, this city is the third biggest in the country. You can find the world's tallest fountain, enchanting museums, and fine restaurants here. For those with a turn towards alternative arts, Geneva is a place not to be missed.

5)St. Moritz

A famous playground of the wealthy, St. Moritz is a winter resort which offers skiing and a variety of summer and winter sports, as well as mud and mineral baths and mud therapies. Savour caviar and truffles in some of the resorts' fine restaurants, or take a spa treatment at the Health Spa Centre. This town is also known for its active and expensive nightlife.

6)Mt. Pilatu

Near the lakeside city of Lucerne stands Mt. Pilatus, a 2,120-metre-tall mountain. Tourists can take a cable car to reach its top and enjoy the thrilling view. It is also a great venue for walking with numerous trails, and visitors here can witness the spectacular scenery of the Swiss Alps

7)The Rhine Falls

Situated near the town of Schaffhausen, Europe's largest waterfall is a magnificent natural wonder. Near the falls is the medieval castle, Schoss Laufen, which houses a restaurant, a youth hostel, and shops. On Swiss National Day, 1 August, the Rhine Falls is host to fantastic display of fireworks which attracts thousands of tourists.
