Tamil Nadu Engineer’s Forum – Kuwait conducted the annual family event traditionally named as, “May fair” – “Kodai Vizha” on 8th May’2015 at Abu halifa community hall. The event encourages all the TEF members and their family to exhibit their talents. It was a full day program; jam packed with events from various age groups. Children reaching up to catch the adult and adults bending down to become to a kid, is the essence of the event.
Off stage events “Drawing and Best-Out-of-Waste” were conducted on 24th Apr’2015. Due to huge participant registration for “Vocal music” and “Instrumental music”, these On-stage competitions selected candidates were given a chance to perform on stage on 8th May’15.
The program began with traditional “Thamizh Thai Vazhuthu” after a quick breakfast. Starting with Fancy dress, the events followed were Solo singing, Instrumental Music ,Drama, Ads-up, Group dance, English Extempore, Vegetable carving, Kolam and Quiz. The events continued till 5 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. There were around 390 participations from 220 individuals (without duplication).
Winners and Runners were selected from all categories of the program and were given trophies. All the participants were recognized for their effort with a certificate and a gift.
The entire crowd remained connected with all the events and stayed till the end of the program.
