Tulu Koota Kuwait "Rasamanjari 2015" artists rock the stage

Tulu Koota Kuwait Rasamanjari 2015 was held on 1 May 2015 at the Marinal Hall, Touristic Park, Abbasiya. The artists rocked the stage with their melodious songs and performance. The event commenced with the lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee and Advisory Committee.

The President, Mr. Tharendra Shettigar in his speech welcomed the audience and also informed everyone about the New Project “A Glimmer of Hope – Bhagyoda Bolpu” undertaken by Tulu Koota Kuwait. Tulu Koota Kuwait, in its persistent endeavor towards promoting social causes, aspires to offer a ‘Glimmer of Hope’ to the HIV infected children of Belthangady Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District. The President urged each one of them to donate generously towards this noble venture undertaken by the association, as the invaluable contribution would positively assist in enhancing the lives of the HIV infected children by improving their health, nutritional condition, educational performance and support them in living a normal life.

The audience was welcomed by highly energetic dance moves from the dance group of Heart Beatz. The Sandalwood playback singer, Shashank Sheshagiri then shook the audience by the his powerful voice while talented dancer, RJ and MC Nagaraj Amber kept the audience entertained and amused throughout the show with his comedy timing, song and dance.

The superlative and outstanding musicians Deepak Jayasheelan, Raja Gopal Acharya, Prakash Antony and Rajesh Bhagwavath were a powerhouse of performance and left no stone unturned to give splendid live music. They were rightly introduced by the host as the most wanted musicians in the sandalwood music industry. The theme of Rasamanjari, retro to metro was super hit as audience enjoyed the retro songs as much as they wanted to sway on the metro songs.

The Asia Net - Idea Star winner, Preethi Warrior, the multi talented Rony D’Cunha, and the melodious singer Sumitha Nair also contributed to the very success of the show with their mind-blowing performances. The Local Tulu Koota singers like budding star Kushi Shetty, Gulf Voice of Mangalore winner Morvine Quadros, ex Cultural Secretary of Tulu Koota Kuwait, Suresh Salian, singer and dancer Laveena Praphulla , Jasmine D'Cunha and Santosh Kunder were feast to the ears.

Heart beatz dance group presented two more dance items, while our very own Tulu Siri kids and TKK friends exhibited beautiful dance performances. TKK friends, under the direction of Praveen Kotian Kodekkal and acting by Mahesh Poojary, Manoj Poojary, Lional Rayan and Praveen Kotian himself rendered two rib tickling comedy skits. The people rolled in laughter as they enjoyed the comedy treats.

The event was precisely coordinated by the artistic perseverance of the Cultural Secretary, Mr. Satish Acharya. The show was well hosted by Shalini Vijay, Shobha Bhandary and Preeti Shetty. All the Committee members with their hard work and unity poured their heart into making this show a grand success. The event was concluded by Vote of Thanks by the General Secretary, Wilson D’Souza and singing the National Anthem.
