KALA-BEC Balakalamela 2015, the art and literary competitions for Indian students organized by Kerala Art Lovers Association, KALA-Kuwait jointly with Bahrain Exchange Company Kuwait were successfully concluded with incredible participation of students. Competitions were held for Bharathanatyam, Mohinyattam, Folk Dance, Group Dance, Classical Music, Light Music, Mappila Pattu, English & Malayalam Recitation, Elocution, Essay, Mono Act & Fancy Dress categorized for Sub Juniors, Juniors & Senior Divisions, simultaneously through different stages named as ‘Layalm, ;Thalam’ ‘Ragam’, ‘Thanam’, ‘Pallavi’, ‘Niram’ and ‘Nila’.
Hon Secretary of Indian Embassy Mr. A.K Srivastava (Press, Info and Culture) formally inaugurated Balakalamela-2015 held at United Indian School in a function presided by KALA president T.V Hikmath. Gen Secretary Saji Thomas Mathew welcomed and Gen. Convener Nizar K.V expressed vote of thanks.

The ever rolling Trophy with the School with highest points, Kalathilakm & Kalaprathibha with highest individual points, prizes for all the vinners with First, Second and Third positions will be presented in the KALA program ‘Aksharam-2015’ scheduled on 22 May 2015 at Indian Community School, Khatan.
