Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah (DAI), a cultural organization based in Kuwait will host an Indian Night of Kathak Dance Recital and Live Music at Amricani Center on Sunday May 3rd, at 6.30 PM. The Program in two parts features, Kathak dance by renowned Ms. Mahua Shankar, favorite disciple of Pt Birju Maharaj. She will be accompanied by Maestro Murad Ali ( Sarangi), Zakir Husain ( harmonium) and Shuheb Hassan on Tabla. Murad Ali is today's most sought after Sarangi player in India and second part is an Indian classical Music recital on Sarangi by Murad Ali, Zakir Husain and Shuheb Hassan. Artists are being flown in from Delhi for this interesting evening.
