Youth India Shifa al Jazeera Al Nahil Pravasi Kalolsavam Declared Abbasiya Reds Champions

Youth India Shifa Al Jazeera Al Nahil Pravasi Kalolsavam which was filled with the artistic skills of around a thousand expatriates and the imagination of little minds comes to an exciting finish. Abbasiya reds lifted the winners trophy in the kalolsavam which was conducted with the motto ‘Arts for social causes’ at the Indian Central School premises, with an aggregate of 283 points in total. Salmiya Yellows were runners up with a tally of 214 points and Farwaniya Blues finished behind with 156 points. Abbasiya Reds captain Sanal received the winners trophy from Kerala Islamic Group President K.A.Zubair and Salmiya Captain received the runners up trophy from Youth India President Rafeeq babu. A variety of competitions for all age categories viz. kids, Sub Junior, Junior, Senior, Ladies and Gents, which started at 8 am in 10 venues. Leading figures in the socio-cultural, art and literature domain in Kuwait gave their verdicts on the competitions conducted.

The group items which were held in the evening portrayed the current socio-cultural and political affairs of the country and expressed their anger over the injustice that prevails in our country. The group items clearly showed a new way of using art for social causes in an environment where it is dominated by evil. The painting competition (Nirakkoot) in which tiny tots to adults participated in their respective categories and the open canvas painting was an attraction of the event. Leading singers of each of the zones provided an entertaining evening to the crowd in the Ganamela competition. The Individual champions are as follows. Gents : K.K.Ismail (Abbasiya), Ladies, Shameena Nassar (Salmiya), Hasna Kalathil (Fahaheel), Senior Boys: Sinwan Mohammed (Abbasiya), Senior Girls : Lamiya Shaukath Koroth (Salmiya), Junior Boys: Hilal Salim Pathiyarath (Salmiya), Misbah Mayan (Fahaheel), Junior Girls: Sama Ummar (Farwaniya), Sub Junior Boys: Abdussalam Shoukath (Salmiya), Subjunior Girls : Hima Jameela (Abbasiya). Sajid AC, Najeeb MK, Fasalul Haq,Shareef PT, Firoz Hameed, Muneer Madathil, abdul Latheef, Manaf, SAP.

Sharafudheen, Rishdin Ameer, Mehbooba Anees conducted the events in various stages. CK. Najeeb,

Nisar K. Rasheed, Koyamma Shafi, Abdul Basith, Shafeer, NK.SHafi, KV.Fawas, MM.Naufal, Muhammad Saleem, Hassanul Banna, Muhammed Haroon led their respective departments and General CP.Naisam, General Secretary Shafi PT and President Rafeeq Babu supervised the overall conduct of the event.

Leading figures in the socio-cultural domains of Kuwait gave their verdict on the events. Youth India General Secretary Shafi PT, Ashraf Kalathod, Anitha Teacher, Sathar Kunnil, Azeez Thikkodi, Sanoj, Aniyan Kunju, Ranjith, Basheer Koilandi, Habeeb Muttichool, Faisal Manjeri,Anwar Saeed, Anees Farooqi, PK.MAnaf, Niyas Islahi, Warda anwar and Husna distributed the prizes.
