The Security Department at Kuwait International Airport on Friday started the implementation of a new luggage inspection system, following the method used in most international airports by cancelling the inspection of luggage before the passengers complete check-in procedures, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.
According to report, cancelling the first point of inspection doesn’t mean the passengers may board the plane without checking their luggage, because this is now done before their flights take off.
Sources said modern devices are being used to ease and expedite luggage inspection procedures, while the method of inspecting handbags remains as it is. n me
