Kozhikode District Association Salmiya Area Office bearers for the year 2015-16 have been elected unanimously in the Annual General Body meeting held at Al Tawoon Institute auditorium Salmiya. The new office bearers are: Sreenivasan.M (President), Sasidharan.P.K (Secretary), Sooraj.K (Treasurer). Shaji.K.V, Sherif Thamarassery, Ashraf.P.P were elected as representatives to Central Executive Committee.

Salmiya Area Mahilavedi office bearers are: Sobhika Unnikrishnan (President), Salma Riyas (Secretary). Neenakumari.N, Meera Devi were elected as representatives to Mahilavedi Central Executive Committee.

Sasidharan.P.K presided over the Area Annual General Body meeting. Siddiq.C.P welcomed the gathering. Association President Haneef.C, General Secretary Shyjith.K, Treasurer Najeeb.P.V and Patron Rajagopalan.E spoke on the occasion. Raju S Kandy was the returning officer who controlled the election proceedings. Haneef.C, Shyjith.K, Najeeb.P.V, Rajagopalan.E, Biji Ramakrishnan, Mymoona Aydeed and Rekha.T offered felicitation to the newly elected office bearers and central executive committee members.
