Famous Indian choreographer Geeta Kapur to judge “Dhoom Macha Le Season-3” in Kuwait

After the grand success of “Dhoom Machale Season-1” and “Dhoom Machale Season-2” with the talented Terence Lewis, Indian Youth Society-Kuwait is now presenting “Dhoom Machale Season -3” with the very famous dance choreographer and dancing Judge Geeta Kapur in Kuwait.

Geeta Kapur is an Indian choreographer, in Hindi films (Bollywood) and is one of the three judges for the Indian reality dance talent show, Dance India Dance .

Geeta Kapur started her career when she joined the troupe of noted Bollywood choreographer Farah Khan at just 15, later went on to assisting her in many films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Mohabbatein, Kal Ho Na Ho, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om etc. and even the musical Bombay Dreams (2004), and has lent choreography to many Bollywood fims likeFiza (2000), Asoka (2000), Saathiya (2002), Heyy Babyy (2007) and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (2008), Alladin (2009), Tees Maar Khan’s Sheila Ki Jawani’ (2010), Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya(2011),Shirin Farhad Ki Nikal Padi(2012) . Geeta Kapoor has also choreographed award ceremonies, concerts like Temptation Reloaded and has also choreographed the opening ceremony of Pepsi IPL 2013 .

"Dhoom Machale" a dance competition to bring out the dancing talent in Kuwait which will be judged by the Bollywood dancing judges & choreographers. According to the age group of contestant the competition will be having four different levels such as junior, pre senior, senior & super seniors and details can be seen on the IYS website. Registration for the audition is already opened and will be closed on 10th of April 2015.

Auditions will held on 24th of April at Salmiya Indian Model School.

Indian Youth Society, Kuwait fondly known as IYS is a non-profitable organization registered with Indian Embassy of Kuwait by the initiative of a like-minded young Indians with the vision of honoring, encouraging, supporting and celebrating the Indian social & cultural values amongst the people of Kuwait.
