Womens Day Special Programe as its 30th KALAM on 06.03.2015 at PavendarArangam in MANGAF. The Event was begun@ 09.30AM. The Program was anchored by Mrs Priya Kanan. Prayer Song was sung by Mrs. Manjula & Selvan Nikhil. The event was presided over by Dr. Paul Manual, Professor, Kuwait University and in the presence of Mrs. Jesse, Teacher in Carmel School, Khaithan.
Mrs. Shatha Mariam James, Principal Indian Central School ,Abbasia was Chief Guest for Women’s Day Special Programe. The Chief guest was introduced to audience by Mr. B.Sekar, President, Pavendar Kazhagam.
The Chief Guest well appreciated about the Women’s Day Event which was organized by the office –bearers of Pavendar Kazhagam. During speech, Chief Guest said that event was very extraordinary and pleasurable the technique it was structured.
PVKK’S “Kalapaadal” was sung by Selvan Nikil & Mrs.Manjula . One Thirkkural was enlightened by Mrs. Lakhshmi Vimalan”. The event under the title ‘Mann Isai ” was performed by PVKK Singers Mrs. Manjula Duraisamy & Selvan Nikhil. The event under title” KalaththuMedu” was performed by PVKK member’s Children Selvan. Nikil, Srinivaasan, Vishwesh Balaji, Saron Balaji, Neveen surya, Vipin, Rahul & Selvi. Chandarani, Ananthani & Uma Priya. Children’s performance of dances and songs were well appreciated by Chief Guest, audience and members.
Poets Mr.Abuthahir, Sivamani, Sivasankaran, Kavisai Sekar and Nilavan were performed poems under the title“Kavithai Siraku”. The topic was” Modern Women are the Eyes of Earth Mr.Ramakrishnan narrated an interesting story under title “Kathaikelu Kaniyagu”.Mrs. Thilaga recalled about Mrs. Kalpana Chavla under title” Ninanthu Ninainthu. A debate programme was performed under the leadership of Mr. B.Sekar .The participants in debate were Mr.Natarajan, Engr.Mrs.Umadevi ,Mr.Sivamani & Mr.Jeyakumar under the title “Inithinum Inithu”. Debate Title was “Whether Women’s freedom has been improved or diminished in our house as well in our country”
The Lunch was sponsored by PVKK Members. The Event was concluded with national anthem by PVKK Members.
