1st Follow-up Workshop - Amrita SPARSH

On Jan 23rd, 2015 Indian Embassy Kuwait under the banner Amrita SPARSH witnessed compassion in action. It was the gathering of “Special’ parents and ‘special’ children with a purpose. Empowering parents with Special children was the aim behind Amrita SPARSH—Special Needs Awareness Reach to Support and Heal. Amma Kuwait organized this humanitarian event “Empowering families with Special Children” as part of the global initiative “Embracing the World”.

We are proud to launch our first follow-up session on March 14th Saturday 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Kuwait Women’s Social and Cultural Organization, Khaldiya. This time we are concentrating on addressing the issues of children with ADHD. The session will highlight what ADHD is and what strategies can be implemented by parents at home to support their children.

Educationists and Therapists will be available to empower parents with strategies. Please avail this opportunity and spread this message to as many parents you might know.

April being Autism month, we will be concentrating on Autism. Very soon we will be contacting parents who had registered with us with our follow-up session.

We are in touch with registrants with special cases and we have referred them to special doctors.
