Samrat – the newly opened Indian restaurant in Abu Halifa

The weather is getting more pleasant, and there’s always fun at a nice family dine out in an exotic outdoor place. There is no excuse for staying inside on these beautiful days. Take a break from your whole day work, relax and have dinner outdoor. The newly opened Indian restaurant Samrat at 'Menus Mall' in Abu Halifa is one such a perfect place to unwind in the city and the good food just comes as an added advantage.

Samrat in Sanskrit means King. It’s truly the King of its Cuisine. Samrat Restaurant offers an extravagant spread of multi-cuisine dishes. They serve Indian, Chinese, Continental and Sizzlers.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor has around 10 to 12 tables with seating capacity of 4 dinners each, which can be adjustable for more, and has a lovely view to enjoy. Indoor they have around 150 seating capacity. Family Cabins are at the first floor. There are 10 cabins with 4, 6 and 8 seating capacity.

As we enter the restaurant there is a well decorated reception table and a sofa set for customers to wait. The decor and ambiance is elegant and pleasing. Each table has a unique entertainment system, where they have kept a Tablet for individual table which customers can use for entertainment purpose while waiting for their food. Am sure that the kids will be involved in this while waiting to fill their hungry bellies. The restaurant also has wifi, so customers can check their mails or kids can play online games using the tablet. Waiting has become enjoyable.

Their à la carte menu is very attractive. Each dish is neatly described with a picture. It becomes easy for customers to select their favourite dishes. We were first served with the usual complementary Papad with Chutney, Curd and Pickle. For soups we ordered Hot & Sour Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, For Salads we ordered Veg Salads. 2 to 3 varieties of vegetable salads were served. For Starters we were served with Chicken Lolipop and Veg Spring roll.

For main Course we ordered Butter Chicken, Kadai Prawns, Palak Paneer, Baigan Ka Bharta, Special Vegetable Biriyani, Chicken Biriyani and Assorted Bread Basket.

Presentation of all the dishes was exceptional. It was impressive and elegant. Service was excellent.

The best part of the whole meal I liked was the Deserts. The restaurant has a separate Chocolate Bar counter from where variety of delicious, tempting, mouth-watering chocolate desserts are prepared and served. This was something unique. Kids and Adults will just love this. I just got indulged into this chocolate delights. It was just heaven. The ones we tasted were V.I.P Chocolate where we get to choose an item which we can dip in Belgian Fancy Chocolate, Brownies Crepe - Folded Crepe, filled with brownies and toppes with milk, dark and white chocolate. The V.I.P Chocolate Items to choose are Brownies, Banana, Strawberry and Marshmello. They have many more variety of Chocolate delights. This was a lovely end to a wonderful meal.

The interesting part is, they provide free valet parking in their basement. Outside also there is enough space for parking, as at the side is an open ground. So no need to worry about getting parking place at any time of the day.

If you believe that variety is the spice of life, then this restaurant is a must visit.

Samrat Restaurant is located in Menus Mall, Abu Halifa.

'Menus Mall’ is located on the sea side road between Kuwait Magic and Hilton Resorts.
