Kuwait KMCC Abbasiya Area Committee conducted “ CH Memorial KMCC Arts Fest 2015”, an historic event in memory of Former Chief Minister of Kerala State, India Mr.C.H. Mohammed Koya Sahib for its members and students from madrassas running by various religious organization in the same area. Its first time in Kuwait history the competitions between the students of various madrassas on Tajweed, Hifz, Adhan etc which makes new experience to the children as well as parents. Competitions on various items such as Tajweed, Hifz, Adhan, Drawing & Colouring, Mappilappattu, Story Telling, Malayalam Speech, Malayalam Essay writing, General & Islamic Quiz in three different groups as part of Arts Fest 2015. Abbasiya Area Committee of KMCC made this Arts Fest an history on organizational ability and also the number of participants. Arts Fest 2015 conducted in three venues based in Kuwait KMCC office and in the other two hall of Rhythm Auditorium. Winners have been awarded with trophies, certificates and mementos. Abdul Razak, Programme Committee Chairman Mr. Latheef P.K., General Convener Eng.Mushthak, Area General Secretary Mr. Koya Feroke, Treasurer Mr. Siddiq Kuzhippuram, Vice Presidents Mr. Hussan Kutty, Mr. Latheef Karimpan Kandi, Secretary Mr. Ansar Ernakulum, Programme Committee members Mr. Salam Pattambi, Mr. Abdu Rahiman Naduvannoor, Mr. Siddiq Kattippara were lead this mega event. Arts Fest started at 9:00 am on Friday 16th January and ended at 10.30 pm. Kuwait KMCC Chairman Sayyid Nasir Al Mash’hoor Thangal, President ( NORKA Welfare Board Director) Mr. Sharafudheen Kanneth, other national committee members Mr. H.Ibrahim Kutty, Acting Gen.Secretary Mr. Gafoor Wayanadu, Vice.Presidents Mr. Farooq Hamadani, Mr. K.T.P.Abdurahiman, Mr. Azeez Valiyakath, Mr. P.V.Ibrahim, J. Secretaries Mr. Aslam Kuttikkattoor, Mr. Ismail Bevincha and other office bearers of various areas/ unit committee were attended for encourage the participants. Mr. Sharafudheen Kanneth inaugurated the closing ceremony presided by Mr. Latheef PK. Area President Mr. M.K.Abdul Razak spoke about various activities in past, present and future plans of Area Committee. National Committee Acting General Secretary Mr. Gafoor Wayanadu, Area General Secretary Mr. Koya Feroke delivered felicitation speeches.

Abbasiya Area Kmcc announced its latest relief program for member’s welfare and providing wheel chairs for the use poor and needy people visiting govt. medical college at Kozhikode.
As part of closing ceremony of the Arts Fest 2015 “Kolkkali” lead by Mr. Ali Manikkoth, “ Mappilappattu” lead by Mr. Abdurahiman Naduvannor and “Dafmuttu” lead by Darutharbiya Madrassa team also contributed to make this programme unforgettable.
