Kozhikode District NRI Association (KDNA) Kuwait conducted the Christmas New year family get together on 8th January 2015 at Indian Community School, Khaitan. In spite of the extreme cold weather the participation of the crowd comprising of the members and non-members was incredible. The prominent dignitaries’ from various phases of the society including social, political, cultural, religious and media gave an effervescent among the Audience.
The function was inaugurated by Mr. Abid [I’Black country Head] KDNA president Aziz Thikkodi presided over the function and the General secretary Sathian Varoonda welcomed the Audience. Vote of thanks was rendered by Programme Convener Mohan Raj Areekkad. Mr. Basheer Batha, M.M.Zubair, Afzal Khan [Malabar Gold], Joseph Panicker [Eng. Forum India Kuwait Chapter] , Subrahmaniam [Al Meer] etc spoke on the occassion.
As a part of the charity distribution under the leadership of Charity Secretary Illias Thottathil a cash funds for five persons were distributed by Krishnan Katalundi, Zaheer Alakkal and Sajeevan Kunimmal.
As an entertainment program various cultural activities were performed by the Association members & children.
