The bells rang once again on 12 Dec’2014 in shape of poetry when poets presented their poetry in ‘Mushaira’ organized at the residence of Ms. Shahjahan Jaffery ‘Hijab’. The event was organized by the jointly cooperation of Sunil Sonsi, Shahjahan Jaffery HIjab, Afroz Alam, Tariq Mahmood and Nadeem Asrar.

The event started with welcome address by Sunil Sonsi followed by invitation to Mohhammed Miya’n Ilyas, Aamir Kidwai and Tariq Mahmood for lighting the ‘Shama e Mehfil’

The mike was, subsequently, handed over to Ms. Shahjahan Jaffery for steering the event.

Mushaira started with ‘Tilawat e Quran e Pak’ by Nasim Zahid followed by poetry by Ibrahim Sangeraja, Ms. Tajwer Sultana, Nasim Zahid, Masood Hassass, Tariq Mahmood, Sabir Omer Galsulkar, Imad Bukhari, Afroz Alam, Gurbaksh Singh Dogra, Saeed Nazar Kadpawi, Aslam Imadi, Aamir Kidwai, Fayyaz Wardhague and Ms. ShahjahanJaffery which was very much enjoyed by Abdullah Abbasi, Ashraf Zia, Ms. Amna Japanwala, Mizan, Ms. Tehsin, Soofi Ashfaque and Janaab Yasoob Mohammad Shakir.

Mohhammed Miya’n Ilyas the Chief Guest, appreciated the joint efforts of all in promoting the literary activities in Kuwait followed by ‘Khutba e Sadaarat’ by Aslam Imadi; the president of event.

Sunil Sonsi, in the last, conveyed heartiest thanks to all present for their benign presence & specifically to Tariq Mahmood, Afroz Alam, Nadeem Asrar and Ms. Shahjahan Jaffery for their co-operation in making the evening successful.

All those present conveyed their thanks to Ms. Shahjahan Jaffery for hospitality extended towards them.

It was an evening of sweet reminiscences which shall be treasured for long.
