Director of Hussein Makki Jumaa Centerl for specialized Surgeries brushed aside Monday press reports that suggested a malfunction in the radiology apparatuses.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi said in a statement to KUNA that all radiology devices in the center were working in full capacity and were not affected by a simple flaw in one of the CT-scan apparatuses.
He said all tumor radiological apparatuses are working in full capacity with no significant bad effects on the patients.
Al-Awadhi said that there was a simple malfunction in one of the CT scan devices at the radiology department and work is underway to repair it, pointing out that patients did not affect by such defect as there are other devices to meet their needs.
