Muthamizh Arignar Narpani Mandram celebrate Tamil New Year and Pongal Carnival

Manam organised its Puthandu Ponal vizha to celebrate the Tamil New Year and Pongal Carnival, the harvest festival with great pompus at Talamuthu Natarajan Arangam,Trichy Restaurant on 30.01.10.The program started with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and the gathering was welcomed by Mr.K.K.Mathivanan, secretary.It was presided by Mr.Deen and Mr.E.M.Hanifa,President, Er.Raman, Er.Sekar and Mr.Chellaperumal were present on the podium. The function was anchored by Mrs.Radhika Selvam aptly with poetic tint.
The Tamil Calender was released by the President and was received by Er.Raman,Er.Sekar, Er.Raasekaran.The event was meticulously arranged by Mr.Jayabalan, Mr.Natrajan, Mr.Selvam, Mr.Senthai Ravi and the organizing committee.
Mr. Adam, Mr.Abuthaheer, Mr.Sadiq, Mr.Mathiazhagan TWF, Dr.Anwar Batcha KKML, Mr.Amanullah TMMK, felicitated the function while Mr.Valanadan narrated his experience on Classical Tamil. Mr.Ramakrishnan, Mr.Francis and Mr.Sathyan enthralled the audience with their tamil patiriotic songs.Mr.Ravanan Tamilosai, Mr.Gopal, Mr.Raffiq Raja, Mr.Thangam LIC, Mr.Mathivanan Priya Musicals, also graced the function.
Mr.Sivakumar proposed the vote of thanks and the program concluded with sweet Pongal and dinner served for the participants.
