The Municipality will sign next week a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) to study future municipal projects and plans, said director of coordination and follow-up in the Office of the State Minister for Municipal Affairs, Abdulkarim Al-Zaid.
In a press release on Sunday, Al-Zaid said that the Municipality will also sign a draft study of the e-archiving in the near future, adding that the study will require three months and is expected to be completed in July.
He added that work in progress on staff data in the governorates is underway in order to approve and incorporate data into the computer system, before a full electronic linkage can be established, allowing for a fingerprinting sign in and out system.
Al-Zaid also said that a joint coordination meeting took place between the Municipality and the Ministry of Public Works to create cooperation channels in order to facilitate joint action and the delivery of projects
