Farwaniya Governor visited Abbasiya area; Residents problems need ‘deep-rooted’ solutions

All efforts to solve the issues faced by the residents in Abbasiya and other areas under Farwaniya Governorate will be taken care of with the concerned authorities, said the Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Humoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah after visiting the areas with Communications Minister and State Minister for Municipality Affairs Essa Al-Kandari .

The problems faced by the residents of Farwaniya governorate, especially those living in Abbasiya, Jleeb, Hasawi etc were reported by media several time in the past. Governor Sheikh Faisal said he will not spare any effort in coordinating with concerned authorities to meet the needs and remove obstacles that stand in the way of preventing main and important services in the area.

Governor along with Communication Minister visited the areas and said that this requires deep-rooted solutions to solve lingering problems.

The drainage issue of Abbassiya, where the resident majority is from Indian community, was reported by IndiansinKuwait.com in the past. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain earlier visited the place to take a look on the situation and later on visited Governor of Farwaniya along with prominent members of the Indian community residing in Farwaniya region. During that meeting, Governor affirmed that the safety, security and the welfare of the citizens/residents in the Governorate are his top priority.

Sheikh Faisal said that the Farwaniya governorate is in most need of help due to many reasons, including it being the busiest and most congested, especially in certain areas of the governorate. The governorate will work on resolving these problems as soon as possible, Sheikh Faisal said after visiting the area.
