Indian Central School celebrated 20 years of excellence

Indian Central School celebrated its twenty years of service to the nation on the Friday, 21st of November 2014 with an amazing display of cultural events by the more than 1000 students in colorful events. Dignitaries from various spheres of the society attended the programme held at School premise.

The celebration was officially inaugurated by Mr. Shiva Sagar, Second Secretary from the Indian Embassy who is also in charge of Education and Community in presence of school Chairman Mr. Talal Al Jeri, Principal, Dr. Shanta Maria James and other dignitaries. The Vicennial logo was launched by Chairman Talal Al Jeri and a special souvenir to commemorate the day was released by Mr. Shiva Sagar.

The school started in the year 1994 with 240 students is now grown up to accommodate more than 5300 students thanks to the whole hearted support given by the community, Principal said in her address to the gathering. The school also felicitated twenty eight teachers who had completed, fifteen to twenty years of service in the school during the celebration.

Memorable and Nostalgic moments of expression were displayed on the stage by Pre Kg students to Grade XII students displaying the culture and customs of the international community that is present in the ICS family. The four rock bands of the school and the array of vibrant dance groups added glow to this memorable event of ICS.
