The Mannar Association Kuwait (MAK) conducted a picnic in Riggae garden on 14/11/2014 holding the slogan "Nothing’s better than a picnic".

The programs started at 11.00 am, with traditional prayer from our Blooming buds and a special sweets distribution was made in remembrance of children’s day. Then the delicious breakfast of Appam and Egg curry was served. The games started soon after and it continued without break till 2.30 pm.The weather was very pleasant and all have enjoyed the picnic in its real meaning with some friendly games & sporting events.

The games were arranged to engage all the age groups and families. There were separate games for kids, mens and ladies .Games started with Musical chair and ends with Cookery show for guys. Healthy and sporty Tug of war was the main attraction of the event and the winners are awarded with a bunch of bananas which is arranged in a traditional way, the events was segregated for all age groups so all including ladies and kids can enjoy in equally. The second highlight was short put and it also created a rhythm in picnic .After lunch break a special cookery show men was organized to prepare maximum number of Veg sandwich in limited time of three minutes .

The picnic came to end with the evening snacks and the vote of thanks. The events were streamlined in such a way that all should be equally involved .It was a combined effort from all the executive members (Food Commitee, Transport committee and program committee) and the assistance provided by the president Mr:Biju Menon and General Secretary Mr:Ramesh Pillai was the exude of success of this event.
