Youth Chorus organized 9th Christian Group Song Competition

Youth Chorus, Kuwait organized the 9th Christian Group Song Competition on Friday, 14th November 2014 at United Indian School Auditorium, Abbasiya. 12 teams from different congregations competed on the same stage. President John Abraham inaugurated the competitions. Somu Mathew, Adv. John Thomas, Tony Mathew, felicitated on the occasion. Manoj Othara welcomed and Abraham Kurian gave the vote of Thanks. M/s. Dawn Elsa Ajay read the pledge of children.

St. George Universal Syrian Orthodox team got the 1st Prize, Divine Voice of Kuwait got 2nd Prize and St. Stephen Indian Orthodox Congregation got the 3rd Prize. Winners will be awarded with prestigious ever-rolling trophies – Mrs. Aleyamma John Pazhayidathu memorial for the first prize, and Mrs. Omana Jose memorial for the second prize and Youth Chorus Trophy for the third prize during the Christmas celebrations in Dec. 18, 2014. The winners will be awarded with individual trophies and certificates. Besides the winners, St. Gregorious Indian Orthodox Church , Voice of Bethany, Sharon Fellowship Church, His Grace Ministry, Peniel Singers, Angelic Chimes, Jai Gospel Singers, Wind Chines Choir and Bethel IPC, Kuwait participated in the competitions.

A committee with Thomas Chandy M. L. A as Patron, John Abraham, Somu Mathew, Adv. John Thomas, Tony Mathew, Shibu Pullampallil, Manoj Othara, Abraham Kurian, Kurian Abraham, Shyju Thomas, Liju Abraham , Santhosh Eayoo, Ptr. Sam Thomas, Shiju Othara, Sen M.P. as conveners lead the competitions.
