Balasamithi of Palakkad Pravasi Association of Kuwait celebrated Children’s Day on Friday, 14th November, 2014 at Sangeetha hall, Mangaf. Large number of children participated in the event, which consist of fancy dress on Indian national leaders, recitation and elocution session in which children spoken about common subjects covering children’s contribution to “Clean India”, teenagers and health consciousness, losing touch with Indian values in the modern life and social media boom or doom. A large number of parents attended the event. Earlier the inaugural session was conducted by the Balasamithi conveners from different areas namely Hrithik Sivadas (Fahaheel), Sarath Sunil (Fahaheel), Swathi Nandakumar (Salmiya) and Nikita Aravindakshan (Farwaniya), in addition to the felicitation speech by Senior Palpak officials.
