Three matches were held on 31st October 2014 at the Bayan grounds in round 3 of the ongoing KIFF league for the Late J.P. D’Mello Memorial Rolling Trophy.
The first match of Group ‘C’ was between Kuwait Goan Association and last year’s runners up Malabar United. KGA proved no match to Malabar United who won the match with ease by scoring five goals. Jamsheel scored a brace and Jibu, Younis and Ashigi scoring a goal each to complete the win 5-0 for Malabar United. Man of the Match was Jamsheel of Malabar United.
The second match of the day was between United Goans and former champions GOA Maroons in Group ‘D’. Maroons took the lead in the first half through Kevin Vaz. In the second half Anthony put it beyond UG by scoring the second goal to make it 2-0 for GOA Maroons. Man of the Match was Kevin Vaz of GOA Maroons.
The final match of the day was between former champions Navelim Youth Center and Skynet Raiders in Group ‘A’ clash. Skynet scored the only goal of the match in the first half through Joe. Navelim tried their best to force the equalizer, but Skynet shot stopper thwarted all attempts. Skynet goalkeeper Joseph Britto was rightly adjudged the Man of the Match.
