ICSK Junior celebrated Eid Al-Adha with special Assembly

The students of the Indian Community School Kuwait Junior Branch celebrated Eid Al-Adha with utmost fervor, festivity and gaiety through a thematic assembly.

The assembly commenced with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran. ‘It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah’ was the meaningful thought for the day for all to reflect and understand. A student, in her informative speech that was in conjunction with the theme of sacrifice, brought forth the significance of the festival with clarity. Participants enacted the rituals of Hajj in a solemn manner and brought the Islamic culture to the portals of the school. The atmosphere reverberated with melodious rendition of Eid Mubarak songs. The dance performance brought the theme of caring and sharing live on stage. The relevance of the celebration of the festival enthralled all.

Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her address, whole-heartedly appreciated all the participants and the in-charges for highlighting the significance of the festival. She once again stressed on the importance of giving, caring and sharing as values to be imbibed by all students. On the occasion, she also lauded the students who have contributed towards the Kashmir relief fund.
