10TH September, 2014 was indeed a joyful day for the tiny tots of kindergarten section of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior Branch, as they participated in various activities that make learning a fun experience.
The kids of LKG participated in Fingerprint Art Competition enabling them to create works of art by using their hands and fingers. It was a fun activity as children not only learnt about colours but also how to change the look of their painting by adding or blending colours.
The ‘Show and Tell activity’ conducted on the same day for the UKG classes generated interest and excitement among children. Every child was given an opportunity to take the center-stage and experience public speaking, a skill which will remain with the child throughout his life. Speech development, conceptual thinking, story-telling skills, effective communication are yet other benefits of show and tell competition.
A noteworthy feature of such competitions is every child is given an opportunity to participate. ICSK Junior provides a variety of activities in the pre-primary section thus providing a complete learning experience.
