As the drainage issue of Abbassiya, where the resident majority is from Indian community, is still unsolved, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain visited the place to take a look on the situation.
He also met various community leaders at Abbasiya and assured that he will bring the issue to the notice of the Kuwaiti authorities on a priority basis.
The overflowing drainage issue in this area was reported by IndiansinKuwait.com last day. The majority of the residents in Abbasiya are Indian nationals.
IndiansinKuwait.com reported the issue last year also however Indian community leaders who rise to the situation and attends the matter could only make the official to come up with temporary solution like setting pumping machines at different spots. The plea for a permanent solution remains unanswered till date.
