Fahaheel Team bagged the Championship for the second time in the badminton tournament jointly organized by Kerala Art Lovers Association, KALA-Kuwait and U A E Exchange, the leading money exchange company of Kuwait. The brilliant duo Bastin James and Jithin Jayaraj took championship by beating the equally competent team of Saju Thomas and Serin Joseph representing Abuhalifa. In the loosers finals, Fahaheel team of Pradeepan & Thomas defeated the duo Myjo John and Sanoj Kumar of Abbssiya-D.
Representing Abbassiya, the women team of Sili Mol and Shamina Nasser the women’s title by defeating Elizabeth Saju-Prasanna Prakash team.
The Matches was inaugurated by UAE Exchange Marketing Manager Mr. Ranjith Pillai and the trophies for the winners were presented by Kuwait Badminton Association Presidet Dr. Manimaran, UAE Exchange Marketing Manager Mr. Ranjith Pillai,Kala-Kuwait President J.Saji, General Secretary T.V Jayan, Vice President Sajeev M George, Balagopal (Jnt. Secretary), Michael Johnson (Community Secretary), C.K Noushad & Anil Kukkiri (Area Secretaries), Sugathan and Saji Thomas Mathew (Central committee).
