Boubyan bank, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), launched a service that allows clients to withdraw cash using their Smart Civil ID Card; the first of its kind in the Middle East. The service allows bank customers to withdraw cash from the bank’s ATMs.
The new service is characterized with the highest security standards and maintain the secrecy of information, Turaiji said. Abdallah Al-Tuwaijri, Deputy CEO of the bank said that the bank is keen on providing electronic banking services that rely on social media communications such as the internet, smart phones, tablets and others.
Tariq Al-Rashid, PACI’s Director of Systems Development, said meanwhile that this service is a live example for the developed use of smart cards that are available with all citizens and most expats. /div>
