The ministry has set the locations of mosques readied to receive prayer-goers in all areas, while also preparing comprehensive plans including manpower and financial needs for the mosques, said Assistant Undersecretary for Mosques Walid Al-Shuaib in a statement on Friday.

The ministry pays huge attention towards creating the best atmosphere for people during prayers, said Al-Shuaib. Moreover, the ministry will provide the media with a full list of mosque locations and names of those in charge to make it easier for people to reach their destination, he added.

There are currently 13 mosques in Hawalli governorate, 15 in Al-Asimah, 12 in Farwaniya, 10 in Jahra, 17 in Al-Ahmadi and eight in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, noted Al-Shuaib.

Last night, the Undersecretary Adel Al-Falah said in a TV interview that the ministry is organizing programs to fulfill the needs of youth, which he regarded a priority.

He added that all members of the Kuwaiti society used to live side by side amid an atmosphere of moderation, adding that the ministry aims to strengthen this concept among the new generation.
