Kuwait is committed to keeping the environment healthy and clean, said Tuesday Minister of Information Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Sabah, opening here a two-day celebration of Earth Day at the National Museum of Kuwait.
'For Art and the Earth' event is a journey of visual therapy with Earth Day mural along with fun live performances, including songs Of Yusuf and Zahed Sultan. The celebration was inaugurated here at Kuwait national Museum on Tuesday evening. The two day celebration will continue today, Wednesday at the same venue. Selected numbers of local, regional, and international artists who extol the importance of living in a clean and protected environment are participating in the event.

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection which is what Kuwait is doing for two days at the National Museum.
