India International School celebrates “Rishtey-A Bond of Love”.

It was with a unique message, Rishtey—a bond of love ,that the tiny –tots of India International School mesmerized the audience during the auspicious occasion of the 10th Graduation Fiesta on 20-04-2014. The event was graced by the august presence of the eminent dignitaries, Honorable Sheikh Dawood Al Sabah , member of the ruling family and a leading advocate, Mr. Abdulla Ali Basri, Director,, Ministry of Private Education, Kuwait, , Madame Bushra, Inspector, Ministry of Private Education, other guests of honour, special invities and the proud parents.

The School Principal F.M. Basheer Ahmed briefed the incredible journey of the school towards the pinnacle of success in his welcome address. He also expressed his buoyant faith that in the near future, the in-depth vision and the dream of our school Chairman, Dr. P.A Ibrahim, will be fulfilled.

The school Director, Malayil Moosa koya, honored the esteemed guests by presenting them with bouquets. The glittering ceremony got off the ground by the little Masters of Ceremony, Khadeeja, Loui and Nidhin. Prior to the Graduation Fiesta, the meritorious students of IIS ,Ms Harshitha Cheekala, and Safiya Ayoob, who scored 10 CGPA in All India Secondary School Examination,and Ms Munazza Sharafuddin,the school topper in All India Senior Secondary School Examination were appreciated and honored . Mr.Salim, Vice Principal, spoke highlighting the commendable achievement made by these diligent scholars. He also mentioned about the awards that are being confered to the students those who secure 90% and above in the board examinations.

The evening once again witnessed one more hair raising moment when two promising young scholars of IIS, Nida Adil of Class III, the winner ,GCC Spell Bee Competition conducted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans, was honored. The audience expressed their delight and excitement with a standing ovation. Yumna Kulsoom of class VII, the first runner up of the GCC Spell Bee Competition also was appreciated with the same spirit and enthusiasm.

It was followed by an Arabic dance performed by the KG students reflecting on the Indo-Kuwait relationship. It was truly a tribute to Kuwait for extending a welcome hand to the expatriates in general and the Indians in particular.

The most thrilling moment was yet to come, the Graduation Ceremony of tiny tots. It was inaugurated by the school Director, Malayil Moosakoya, followed by a scintillating performance by Master Rohit, the little star singer of IIS. With a contented heart, parents and teachers witnessed the graduation of the little masters who were clad in their prestigious graduation costume. It was indeed the proudest moment of self realization and accomplishment of an important milestone in their life.

The audience was literally taken over by the terrific stage performance put up by the students of LKG and UKG. The audience was moved by their astounding presentation as each item was an embodiment of human relations. They wonderfully brought meaning to the theme of the day, Rishtey-a bond of love. They touched all aspects of familial love, starting from ‘Wedding’. There were no hearts that were not moved and eyes that were not wet when they danced with the theme ‘Mom and Dad’. Other themes were, ‘Brother and sister’, ‘Friends’, and ‘Teachers’. The unforgettable day in the life of each and every little graduate came to an end with the ‘Bollywood Dhamakka’ followed by Vote of thanks by the KG Head Mrs Yogeetha and KG Creative Head Mrs Nilofer .It was indeed a red letter day in the history of India International School.
