We have Associations to the level of even Grama panchayaths now. But every one is hiding their heads when there arose a real issue. Why cant you people prepare a mass petition and get the signature from every expats in your locality and send it to the Indian Govt and the UN seeking immediate action. Send a copy to the media as well so that the Govt and the politicians wont sleep on it.

dear madhu,
thank you so much for providing the vital information about the indian media email addreses. i will surelty keep them updated about the situation in Kuwait. I know there are so many innocent people who forget to carry their ID;s and face a lot of difficulties. i also learnt that many were already deported just because they have forgot to carry their ids. I request the authorities to give some grace time or allow to call their husbands/wifes or homes to get the IDs' in case they were cought just for forgetting their IDs. I also request our Indian Embassy to talk to the Kuwait authorities about this issue atleast so that the most innocent people are not put to great difficulties and akward sutuation. I am sure INdian Embassy will take up this issue with the Kuwait authorities.

Dear Paul

For your information, I was talking about the innocent people who are Jailed in Kuwait because of the Human Rights Violations by Kuwait authorities.

This situation is created by the Kuwaitis not the innocent and illiterate people who came to work here on No. 20 Visas for their bread.

It is your mistake that you didn't have a chance to live in other country and enjoy the freedom. You were born slave, and will be because you are in Kuwait.

People like you will always put the blame on others (mallus, kadapas, etc.) just like blaming your wife and children for some problem created by an external person other than your family members.

For people like you, nothing will happen and because of people like you our Indian Embassay will never open the mouth.

As per the news some are arrested for not keeping identification documents. I believe all emabassies have already publised notification in its premises notice board. But this is not enough. All associations, companies should publish this special notification in their notice board and can give ad in news paper too. This way they can help this innocent people. Let us hope the authorities are giving grace time to show up the identification documents which these innoncent forgot to carry with them.
