Latest News

Association of Indian Professionals (AIP) is going to organize a mega event to award meritorious Indian students on December 29, 2012 (Saturday) at 5.00PM at the auditorium of the Indian Community School, Salmiya. H.E., the Ambassador of India, Mr. Satish C Mehta will be the chief Guest. Awardees have been selected based on CBSE examinations results of class XII declared for the academic year 2011 - 2012 from all Indian Schools in Kuwait which are affiliated to CBSE system of education of India. This may please be noted that the students of class X have not been included in AIP Awards from this year onwards due to introduction of the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system by CBSE which made class X Board examination optional.

Program of the event is divided into two segments. First segment, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, comprises of an interactive program designated as ‘Meet your seniors’ program whereas the second program, AIP Awards distribution, will commence after 6.00pm.

‘Meet Your Seniors’ program is specially designed for the students who are presently studying in classes from IX to XII. Seniors are the students who completed their class XII from Indian Schools in Kuwait and are pursuing higher studies in Kuwait or outside Kuwait. It will be more appropriate to honour the Top 5 students with Gold Medal, Next 5 with Silver followed by Bronze, despite their stream.

Scoring above 95% is a matter of intelligence and hard work whether it is science or commerce. So students with 95% and above surely deserves more than a bronze medal.

It is a very Great Encouragement by AIP and thenks to them. It is easy to get above 95% in Science Stream but in commerce stream getting 90% and above is a very great achievement.

Great encouragement by AIP. We suggest that there should be a separate category of award for those who scored 95% and above.
