A seminar by Mr. Narayana Murthy Chairman Emeritus of Infosys Ltd was organized at the GUST University of Science & Technology on November 09, 2012 on the subject of Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility. A grand welcome was given to Mr. Murthy at the initiative of KKK and Sponsored by Kuwait Computer Services Co the local partner for Infosys Ltd.
Mr. Murthy gave an inspiring speech to the audience which was appreciated by everyone. Ambassador of India in Kuwait HE Satish c Mehta too welcomed Mr. Murthy. Mr.Ahmed Fawzi Musaad Al Saleh Chairman of Kuwait Computer Services Co gave a short humorous speech which was received by long applause from the crowd. He welcomed Mr. Murthy and appreciated the honor to have the distinguished family in Kuwait. In his speech he made particular mention of his attendance on a similar occasion five years before with Mrs Sudha Murthy where he emphasized that her speech induced compassion and humility among the audience to become better human beings.
Mr. Ahmed Fawzi Musaad Al Saleh was introduced to the audience by KKK. He represents several companies under Musaad Al Saleh Group. His family also own and manage Fawzia Sultan Educational Company established in memory of his late mother Madam Fawzia Sultan, which owns and manages several Educational establishments and health sector companies both in Kuwait and USA. Prominent among them are Al Bayan Bilingual School, Fawzia Sultan International School, Fawzia Sultan Rehabilitation Institute, Hygeia Health Care Co.
Mr. Ahmed Al Saleh stated in his speech that Kuwait Computer Services Co established in the year 1976 encourages its employees to follow high values and ethics thus fulfilling its social responsibilities. He said the partnership with Infosys happened because of its Principles. Kuwait Computer Services Co in partnership with Infosys Ltd intend to transform the Public and Private Sector of Kuwait by providing better IT Infrastructure that facilitate high quality information flow for proper governance.
