All moaning about such a spending, its not for few Kuwaitis, look at your population, you are the one who will be enjoying it under one litter of fuel that is one meal for many back home. @Aid worker. If you are in Kuwait, don't forget you and your family is getting much more than just food on your table by being here. If you were better off back home then let some needy take your place at the job you holding for your self. @Indian. They are spending enough money in India, about 5 years back we had the choice of selecting various countries product for our use, now we have only one choice (Indian) including manpower. Be thankful.

Instead of judging Kuwait's generous government for this celebration, learn about how Kuwait is the MOST generous country in the gulf providing donations across the Middle East and the globe. If you have nothing nice to say about Kuwait, then say nothing. God bless Kuwait <3

Iam surprised to read this article. If any one of you go to XCITE @ Avenues Mall, you will find near the cash counter a request form seeking donation for buying insulin pumps since the pumps cost around KD 3000 and there are lot of kids who suffers from diabetes and they are not able to afford buying insulin pumps. Why don't the government think of supporting for these good cause and then spend the remaining for such celebrations.

What is wrong? Actually Kuwait spending very less. Indian expenditure for every Independance day and republic days is enormous. For CWG games, only for decoration and beutification spent more than 500 crores. Political Party meeting in cities like chennai,UP is beyond comparable.
spending for crackers in Kuiwait is nothing. atleaset supporting downstream business.
LONG LIVE KUWAIT.

One reader commented that it is better to invest in the needy people across India. Although I am Indian, I dont feel the need for the Kuwait govt to spend money on the needy people of India. The poverty of the needy in India is due to the corruption IN INDIA. So our country should find the means and ways to ammend the constitution to eradicate corruption

Dear Sir,
I understand it 50 years of the constitution and God bless Kuwait and the people of kuwait.
Won't you feel happy & blest more in return by our God ,when your help your beloved brother & sisters neighbouring & under developed countries who are in need for just food ,clothing and shelter .. Just imagine surely God will bless more to the people of kuwait for their good deeds. Yes a little spending on fireworks will be fine but think about giving help and distributing the remaining amount to the expats needy .. Just think how much they will stand covering you to help you all in your good & bad times... OR instead develop, grow & open up new projects in the country ....
Thankyou

Spending such huge sums on Fireworks better to invest in the needy people across India itself. At least Our Constitutional fathers will be very happy and proud to what they have done 50 years ago than wasting on this, when our own people need to have stable and decent life and to eradicate poverty that is still prevailing after 50 years of Independence.
