Telugu Lalitha Kala Samithi-Kuwait held three days Mega Religious and Cultural Extravaganza called “Gulf Ganesh Utsavaalu-2012” which started on Wednesday, 19th Sep.2012 evening with auspicious pooja of Ganesha Prathima Prathistapana pooja performed by priest Mr. Sharma, with religious flavors by the members of TLKS while other devotees observed utmost devotion in seeking the divine blessings of Lord Ganesh at Carmel School Khaitan, Kuwait

Last day that is on Friday 21st Sep 2012 begin with a daylong celebration with cultural programmes. During the celebration special tribute given to famous Telugu poet Mahakavi Shri. Gurazada Appa Rao on his 150th Birth day celebrations documentary by playing his famous poem “Puthadi Bomma Purnamma, kanya Sulkum “were played it continued with TLKS members and more than 1,500 Telugu people sung Deshamunu preminchu Manna” song which is one of his famous creation. The cultural programme conducted by TLKS were dedicated to the great poet Mahakavi Shri Gurazada Appa Rao.

The unique program was a big success due to its quality content and audience remained till the end of the end

The Lord Ganesh statue made by Well Known Silpi Mr. Balaji. After the Ganesh pooja programm, special attraction of the day was the Laddu Prasadam specially prepared for this occasion by Mayura Hotel (Mr. Narayana Reddy) which was kept for auction started with 50 KWD to the audience and the highest bidder was the well known business man Mr. Mamidi Narayana & Mrs. Mamidi Prameela garu Family on behalf of His Son Mr. Lakshman, who is currently working in USA, an amount of KWD 816/-.( INR 1,60,000 Approx) after that the Laddu Prasadam distributed by on their own hands to every one. Also, the program was followed by delicious lunch prepared by Rayalaseema Hotel and Sponsored by Mr. Mulakkayala Narasa Reddy (Utukuru Village, Rajampet (Mandal).

Later in the day, various cultural programmes were presented to the audience. The cultural programmes were inaugurated with the invocation of Lord Ganesh Vandam prayer song by Pooja varshini From Dancing Divas trainer of Guru Jyothi Patel which is followed by excellent performances of popular local performers of different associations, like Fusion Dance Academy, Heart Beatz School of Dance & Krishna Chaitanya Chekka Bhajana Brundam by guru Chandra Sekhar and team. Special Music performed by a group of children on Lord Krishna was widely appreciated by the audience.

The President of the Telugu Lalitha Kala Samithi, Mr. Kothapalli Mohan Babu presented the activities of the Samithi and highlighted the achievements made by the Samithi since its inception in that during first anniversary few poor people were gifted with flight tickets sponsored by TLKS presented by President Mr.Mohan Babu, in second Rajampeta resident who expired with heart attack were helped. Third During amnesty period forty( 40 families) families were helped with filight tickets sponsored by Indian Govt / Indian Embassy –Kuwait (through Mr. Soma Sekhar Naidu) till they reach safely to the family.

Forth achievement with the help of UTF(United Telugu Form) Four Indian citizens who were short dead by a Kuwaiti citizens families were supported with finance around Rs.10,00000( 10 Lacs)

Remarkable event introduced by president Mohan Babu to Telugu residents of Kuwait is GANESHA USTAVALU, along with cultural programmes with Shri. Nandamuri Balakrishna, Shri. Nara Rohit and famous singers like Simha, Geeta Madhuri were first time introduced to Kuwait Telugu audience. In his speech president Mohan Babu thanked all the sponsors who supported and helped during his service period of two years to conduct successful events. And special thanks given to committee members and all the supportive executives, friends and families who encouraged and provided moral support. He wished best wishes to the new committee president and members and urged to continue to provide best service to the Telugu community living in Kuwait

Later, the outgoing President Mr. Kothapalli Mohan Babu, and his Executive committee members dissolved the office bearers for the year 2011-12 and unanimously appointed the new office bearers for the year 2012-13 Executive committee were invited on behalf of Current President of TLKS Mr. Raja Sekhar Chappidi.

At the end of the cultural program, mementos were distributed by Mr. Kothapalli Mohan Babu , Mr. Subramanyam Raju K.(Bala) ,Lingam Naidu (Gajendra) , Mr. Chendra Sekhar Raju, Babu Naidu. Polaraju, & Polina Venkatesh Naidu to the Sponsors and to the associations which performed various events.

P Partha saradhi ( Gulf Sea Est), Kuchivaripalli Youth association, and many other Telugu associations & Telugu communities and well-wishers.

The Mega Devotional program was successfully organized by TLKS President, Mr. Mohan Babu & Treasurer Mr. Kadimella Subramanyam Raju (Bala), Co-organized by Mr. Daruru Balaram Naidu as well as Genereal Secretary: Mr. Chandrasekhar Raju; Programme Coordinator : Mr. K Lingam Naidu (Gajendra) Joint Secretary Mr. P. Babu Naidu, Polina Vekatesh Naidu & M Nagendra

Finally, The TLKS also extended its heartful thanks to the Kuwait Government for extending support to the religious and cultural activities of the foreigners living in Kuwait.
