Sami Bubere honoured with dinner reception by IKFS

Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society hosted a warm dinner reception to Sami Bubere, the visiting Chief Editor of India based “Indo-Gulf Times” and Subeh Ummed” news magazines.

Sami hails from Mumbai, with his second home in New Delhi is spent 50 years as a scribe, who visits Kuwait as a Patron and Advisor of IKFS. The reception was held on 29th June 2012, at Crowne Plaza hotel, Farwaniya. A K S Abdul Nazar, General Secretary welcomed the guests.

President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor, said that IKFS executives are very much delighted to see Sami sahib, along with other well distinguished Patrons of IKFS. Eng. Sayid Fadal Nizar, Pinto, Sayed Zoheb also was attended in the dinner reception. Pinto, one of the invited guests expressed his deep appreciation towards Sami whose ability to edit instant Poems in Urdu Language. Sami in his reply speech complimented IKFS for hosting warm reception and said that Moulanana Abdul Kalam Azad Saheb, Former Indian President Fakhruddin Ahmed Saheb used to write articles and stories in his father’s magazine “Subeh Ummed” which he is now still looking after. In the year 1932 his father was the chief editor of Urdu magazine “Subeh Ummed” where those leaders used to contribute various articles. Sami said, that Islam’s spread and its acceleration in India was due to the huge contribution of Sufi scholars, who were instrumental to solve mind and soul’s problems of the people. Sami recalled his father Marhoom :Abdul Hamid Buberi’s braveness and the role as the freedom fighter while writing articles against atrocities of the British rule and was the contemporary of Jawaharlal Nehruji and Mahatma Ghandiji. Sami was instrumental to host several inter-faith international conferences in various parts of the world. Sami’s role as the chief compere of Swami Vivekanda missions’ programs in Mumbai were well and highly admired by the audience and media earlier.

Other Patrons of IKFS, Muzammil Malik , Abdul Mohsen Al-Sadi, Dr. Abdul Razzak Rumane, expressed their complimentary speeches in honor of visiting Scribe Sami sahib. Sami was invited to be the Chief Compere and coordinator of the “Urdu Ghzal and Mashahira Program” to be held on 27th Oct. 2012. /div>
