firstly restricted the kuwaitis to stop the issuing 20 number article visa.kuwaitis selling 1 visa in 800KD or 1000KD for issue the 1 visa.i think that kuwaitis are more responsible for this type of crime bcoz if any person buy such an expensive visa then how he take return from kuwait market.

Was the crackdown done becoz of illegal residents or was it becoz some bangladesh people killed a Baldiya Kuwaiti official?i think it was the 2nd reason. but man, there were somany cars and jeeps that day afternoon. looked as if they were preparing for war..

Good job.. I also request keep checking for residency & specially for Khadim #20... Then come here by paying ... & then spoil the job market..

I would like to appreciate Kuwait security forces. They did very good job, which they could have done years back.

Also I am requesting security department to conduct continues checking to close this matter forever

Many of them brought there wife/husband on khadim 20 No visa to get job/interview for ministry nurses.You people just keep on asking khadim visa to get there own wishes come true. Recently jleeb, specially Aabassiya has become a den to hide many run away maids & drivers. Who demand high salary from legal families like 130 KD friday holiday less duty hours. And these maids inform other maids to run away from their sponsors. And above all robbing valuables things from same home, which many families are not aware of their things.And these maids stay in a flat where all good and decent families stays to avoid police to dought on them.They make many small small partitions and help many brothel & prostitutes to do there work very openly.Most maids are shifting to home nurse trade in which they get highly paid.We people are only breaking laws. No body else to be blamed. kuwaities sell visa but why we go to buy from them. And many violate emigration rules and land in kuwait.For all these reasons decent families are suffering from these raids.

some nice comments some angry people. many people critisize arresting of visa # 20 and sellers but whoever is purchasing it in kuwait knows very well that its a crime but they do it for relatives and friends. just stop buying residence if u r really eligible to work in kuwait some company will hire you

I WANT TO KNOW HOW COME 1500 PEOPLE WERE CAUGHT IN ONE DAY AND THAT ALSO IN JLEEB AREA ALONE.IT SEEMS THE WHOLE ILLEGAL COMMUNITY OF KUWAIT WAS STAYING IN JLEEB. NOW DID THE INTERIOR MINISTRY BEFORE ARRESTING THEM THOUGHT OF WHO WERE REAL SPONCERS WHO BROUGHT THEM HERE AND WHY ARE THEY NOT ARRESTING SPONCERS ALONG WITH THEM. NOBODY WANTS TO STAY ILLEGAL IN ANYBODYS COUNTRY AS AT FIRST THEY ENTERED LEGALLY AND LATER ON THEY STARTED ILLEGALLY DUE TO NON PAYMENT OF SALARIES AND OTHER MALPRACTICES. I REQUEST THE AUTHORITIES TO RELEASE THEM AS IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT FOR BEING ILLEGAL AND THE TRUE PERSONS TO BE CAUGHT OR ARRESTED SHOULD BE THE SPONCERS.

Transfer of visa, the company take passport and original civil id, they always said keep only copies nobody touch you but last campain poilice took all peoples with valid copies , this is stupid procedure. They simply told cafeel with come and take you

but its not good for article 20 because every person know about that how he is coming here and how much money pay for article 20. what he do if kuwaiti sold. first of all the kuwait government restricted on those kuwaitis who sold the article 20 visa after then kuwait police raid.

Apart from the arrests of illegal residents, illegal constructions (ground floor "flats" in new buildings constructed after Municipality approval)are also demolished.

It is ok if they arrest the illegal people without residency and legal documents. But it was found that the police is arresting all the people as a whole both legal and illegal. Plus they are breaking into homes and family areas in the name of checking. This is not at all right on their part. Just because they are the police doesn't mean they can invade family rooms and quarters.
The authority must take precautions as not to harass the families and legal residents.

Only kuwaitis are selling number 20 visa,

with out knwoledge of visa holders they are going to cancel there ikkama, for kadim visa sponcer can cancel any time, kuwaitis having business for selling khadim visa.

I heard from some people that these raids were mainly done because 2 kuwaitis got hurt badly by some Bengali's during inspection.

CRACK DOWN IN JALEEB SHUWAIKH ARRESTED MOST OF INDIAN NUMBERS FOUND ILLEGALS AND BANGLADESHI as well. NOW KUWAIT GOVERNMENT ARE AWARE WHO IS VIOLATING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ,ITS VERY GOOD STEP FROM INTERIOR MINISTRY KUWAIT AND WE HIGHLY APPRECIATE AND SUPPORTING SEND BACK TO HOME THOSE ARE DOING AGAINST LAW.

I agree with Raj its an Hidden Agenda,they want to send all the ASIANS and employee the Western since now Western countries going under lot of recession.

Arrest the illegitimate home nurses as well.

Seriously why do all the maids and drivers come to Kuwait for 60 K.D. We are short of these people in India.



If there are any decent maids willing to work good , kindly contact me. I will give you 8000-9000 Rs per month salary. Why do you all want to come here , earn nothing and get deported back to India ?

This is a very good act by Kuwaiti Govt. This shud have been done much ealrier, most of the expats who are living here without proper documents are really suffering hoping they will also have a good time one day soon. They dont have the courage to go back to India,But for what you are suffering here for years, you have no health and good living conditions, open your eyes, go back to India you'll have lot of opportunities there, workers, maids all are needed badly in india too. Atleast save the next lot of people who are coming here like you after paying huge money to the agents... Work there, live there and come back only if you are sure you are on proper documents and can earn a good amount when you compromise your health and life for years here.

I wish one day all expats out from this country and see how the country run by kuwaitis.

Tens of thousand are landing very day on Maid and Khadim Visa. Visa trading is the name of the game. Khadim Visa Offices flourishing very places without any check. I see no end to the menace, since complete system is corrupt.

The news is true. The police with the help of Military raided Hasswi area mainly and catch lot of people. More than 250thousand khadim visa holders are staying out side of the sponsor and they want to sent all this people. Also they want to clear hassawi because Public Authoirty for Applied Technical Education ( PAAT) collage the govt. made just near. So they want to clear this area before opening the collage. Just keep your civil ID always with you.

Dear All, Pls remeber to carry your/ family's civil ID, drivers license, Car reg book etc always with you. Checking is very strict and we may end up getting deported immediately if found by Police without valid ID proof. Pass this message to your friends and relatives/ colleagues.
