St. Basil Indian Orthodox Church announces first Harvest festival

St. Basil Indian Orthodox Church, Kuwait, a Parish of the Malankara Orthodox Church under the Diocese of Calcutta celebrating their first Harvest festival on Friday, 27th April 2012 at Al Jawhara Al Ahlia Girls school, Riggai. The full day program will begin at morning 9 am and will conclude by 6 pm, the organizers said in a press meeting held here.

Chief Guest of the day His Grace Dr. Joseph Mar Dionysius, of Calcutta Diocese will lead the spiritual programs as part of the harvest fest, the organizers said. Prominent personalities including Indian ambassador to Kuwait HE Satish C Mehta will attend the public function.

The attraction of the day is the orchestra lead by famous play back singer Manjary. Variety of entertainment programs by the church members and their families will be held on the day. Lot of fun activities including American Auction, Games, and Food Stalls etc will be organized.

Convener, Suby George - Trustee, Varghese Joseph - Secratary, Alex P George - Finance Convener and Biju Kumbazha - Publicity Convener were present during the press meet.
