While reading the comments I feel I must blame the teachers who taught some of the fellow citizens here:

For not shaping their attitude

For not teaching where to put "full stop & comma" in a sentence while criticizing others on their mother tongue influence, may be from Oxford?

For not removing their prejudices against people

For not teaching them the methods to manage their frustrations

For failing in making them understand teaching is the profession which makes all other profession.

Any way I have all respect for my Indian Teachers.. a Big Salute to them.

@ Mr Mohanlal please be in your limit and dont attack personally, I have not address to you directly it is open/general/common views. so you can give your view and dont take direct names. why i told professional, I dont know your are aware or not. Their is a subject in teachers training course called "Child Psychology" this is the first basic subject for all the teachers has to learn so teachers can easily handle the kids. As you told me that if you have guts then send the kids to professional, so why teachers are accepting peanuts if they have guts ask for higher or dont join on peanuts. Alhumdulillah my wife is Master in Sceince and I told her not to accept penuts and demand as per your knowledge/guts. Dear All it is a request instead of blaming each other we should unitedly give some positive views to help everyone (Teachers and Students) because we came abraod to earn money living our home land for better prospect of us and our childrens. I apologise if hurts anyone. We should always have postive approach.

Thanks to all.

Those who blame teachers please note the following:

Each class there are 40 to 45 students. Your child will learn better if it is reduced to 15 to 20. Pay twice the school fees.

Ask management to hire "professors with PHD" with a salary of around KD 750 to 1000/ month to teach your child, Be ready to pay three times school fees.

Ask the management to increase the working hours to complete the home work in the school as some school does and pay an extra of KD 150 for their operational expenses.

Dedicate 2 hours daily to review your child progress and help in their studies and save KD 100.

If you cannot - then keep your mouth shut.

Regarding tution, many are critisicing. First of all you should have knowledge to conduct tution. I should say students are more interested in gaining better result and searching for good tution Teacher. Also people are alleging, all these teachers are getting twice or thrice income per month by providing tutions. Why you all are jealous? Be a good teacher and earn good income by providing tutions. Who is obstructing you? They are not teaching the students for charity, but for better remuneration.

@Ehsan Mohsin I don't know from which state you are from India. If you think that your child is being taught by a housewife why don't you have the guts to send your child to some well known school or college that hires a professor to teach. Meanwhile it should also be brought to your notice that even if your wife is working, she is also a housewife. Don't blame the poor teachers for all the faults. For all the pain they take to teach the children they are being paid peanuts (atleast in the Indian schools where the maximum salary is less than KD 300 in 97% of the schools with each teachers having to shout at the top of their voice for atleast 6 periods of 40 minutes each.) Why should any body have a problem with private tuition's. If you and your child is confident that you can manage without tuitions why send the child and spend money. Tuitions are mant for children who are not able to cope up with what is being taught or are weak in their studies. It has become a fashion to blame teachers for taking tuitions. Why are the parents sending their children to tuitions. If nobody sends then the practice will stop by itself.@ Lal Thomas.... Don't you send your child for tuitions. if you are sending the child then it is better to keep your mouth shut...........

I agree with Ehsan Mohsin. Teachers in Kuwait are not professionals but housewives working in school to collect salary and pay as flat rent.

Thank God on his returns safely. The main reason is working parents don't have enough time to focus on their children's day by day activities. Concerned teachers to be identified such students and report to the parents in order to pay more timely attention.

parents & teachers both need to play a counseling roles here, but opposite happens. parents keep pushing their kids for higher grades either for showmanship or fear of donation for higher education. this would be a good lesson for parents to understand kid's mental state.

@fs: How can you be so nonsense!! Apply your logic before posting the thing on the media.

How the IIK would be knowing in advance that the boy was missing due to exam fear.

IIK posted photo to show the identification of the boy.

I am not talking behalf of IIK.. I am also a visitor like you.

Happy to hear that the boy is back. great relief to his parents and himself.
The guy who pointed out to certain state shows how small and irrelevant guy he is. However, I know a DPS teacher (not from kerala) discriminating his student in the class if they are not going to him for private tuition.

Regarding private tuition: Have you seen the types of questions come in the exam papers? Most of the questions are to test what they have not observed. The test is not to know what fundamentals they have learnt from class or text books. Hence, just reading the text book and the exercises given in the text book are not sufficient to pass the examination.

Hence, they have to learn from outside of the text books. The school time is just sufficient only to teach what is given in the text books.

Also please note that the tuition teachers are not forcing any one to attend the tuition. The students inquire about the tuitions and they approach the tuition centers.

But I have observed that the fee these teachers collect is huge amounts, may be 20 to 40 times the cost of that they get from the school for teaching in the school for the same time duration.

Many of you have written a lot about the teachers in this forum but none of you seem to have understood the plight of a teacher. CBSE rule clearly states that schools must work for 200 days @ 6 hours per day. Do you guys commenting in this forum know how many days each school works in Kuwait? CBSE rule says each period must be 40 to 45 minutes duration. Do you guys ask your kids how many minutes is a period in the schools here?? Shame on you all to just yap without knowing the sufferings of a TEACHER. A teacher is forced to complete the class 11 and 12 syllabus which otherwise requires 200 days in just 120 -140 days. Everyone loves holidays and each of you question the school why they are opening early or closing late and you guys want result!! God bless all of you but remember teachers are paid peanuts for their work and seldom regarded for their efforts.

Please parents, do not put pressure on your kids for the studies and exams, even if they are the top scorer. Just accept them as they are. Last year alone more than 2000 exam related suicides were reported in India. Make them understand their lives responsibilities in the future instead of turning them the money earning and routine life leading robots.

Totally agreed with Ehsan Mohsin. Need professional teachers/professors to counsel the students at this age. Here all teachers are working to provide support to their family in sense get extra income over their husbands and not professionals. Also all these teachers are getting twice or thrice income per month by providing tutions.

I totally disagree with Ehsan Mohsin. Exam fear is everywhere. In India an average of 20 children suicide from exam fear and you are telling that In india you found students are confident? All teachers in India also are housewives after working hours. There are no teachers remain unmarried to dedicate their life for their profession. Please use caution when you criticize some community.
My regards for Dhanoop's parents.

I was on vacation last month. I saw the students in India are very confident in thier studies because for Grade 11 and 12 teachers are Professor and not housewife, how we have in whole gulf and all dominated by Kerala Teachers and they wish that kids can come for tutions and minting money.

How the Ministry of Education banned teachers taking tutions like wise our Indian schools teachers also be banned from taking tution then only they can teach the kids properly.

Where did the boy stay for 2 nights?

He should be counseled by his parents & teachers on how to cope exam fear in order to avoid such incidents in the future.
