Malarvadi Balasangam celebrates Republic Day

Malarvadi Balasangam celebrated the Republic Day of India with colorful activities on the 26th January. The program drew applause for the variety of the programs and the participation of the children.

Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala executive member K Abdulla Hassan delivered the republic day message. You need to fly high, reach high and decorate high posts, such should be the dream of each and every child and you need to work hard to achieve it, he said.

Children from Abbasiya, Salmiya, Farwaniya and Fahaheel zones presented National Anthem, patriotic songs and republic day speeches. Magician Thomas thrilled the children with his magic. Islamic Womens Association President Warda Anwar presided over the function held in Pravasi Auditorium, Abbasiya. The program started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Sinan. Islamic Womens Association General Secretary Mahbooba Anees welcomed the gathering. Balasangam Convenor Aysha Faisal proposed the vote of thanks.
