Service To Man Is Service To God

Service To Man Is Service To God

Spirit of humanity service is simply the service of divine love, kindness and religious tolerance. Helping and serving the penniless families give a beam to our face and a smirk to their faces too.

The upshot is that we should initially help the people from the poor families and admit the children in schools and provide books, free food. We should always keep a regular touch with these extended families and is indispensable to keep them in robustness and condition and try to help in their anguish from sickness.

Schools in villages sometimes lack water-tanks and sports items. Those schools should be detected and carried on for providing such amenities for children from village schools having no financial supports are to be taken up and encouraged to go to higher studies. We can also guide the children in the choice of their interest so that they can improve their life well.

Many Gods and religious preacher initiate the act of service. Here are a few examples-

• Love all , Serve all – Sathya Sai Baba

• We cannot do great , but we can do small things with great love – Mother Teresa

• Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a collage degree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love – Martin Luther King, Jr.

• Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile – Albert Einstein.

• To remove the evil of egoism, service is the most efficient instrument. – Sathya Sai Baba.

• Service in this world is the highest prayer, loving the people around us is the world’s greatest devotion. -Swami Vivekananda

Cherishing the thought of oneness or serving is the true spiritual life. God loves those who do good to mankind as His own children.

Service is the blossom of love, a flower that fills the mind with rapture. Anyone may blame you, but you should take no notice of all such blames and go forward in doing service without any vindictiveness. Such good service can be fully achieved only with loving, active involvement.

Though I have not got the opportunity for the act of social service in Kuwait, I enthusiastically recommend my parents to remit financial assistance on my birthdays and other occasions for some Orphanage schools in India. It’s my desire to visit such schools and I’ve planned for one in my next journey. I’m also an integral part of the Shanti Association in Kuwait, attending the Educational Human Values classes [EHV], which involves service for the Special need Children. I suggest the readers of this article also to lend a hand for assisting the

Orphanage schools or Old-age Homes.

Irrevocably, Service is the outer expression of inner happiness and goodness. So, I lend a humble obligation that- MOTIVATE MANKIND TO SERVE.

Nice Article. It is very true, we have to help the needy and the underpriviledged in order to attain happiness and reward in heaven. We must make sure our children visit the orphanages and the home for the aged in order to remember that how much we've been blessed and try and help them, this is the only way we can serve as a good human being on the planet earth. Always remember to help the people who cannot return your help.

Man is born with a heart of compassion which reacts in accordance to the feelings of fellow humans. Compassion, love, affection, and care are the innate qualities which make a human. These qualities define man. The development or suppression of these qualities entirely depends on man himself. From time to time, philosophers and religious scholars have tried to encourage people to increase these innate qualities in themselves. Humanity is one such aspect which has been stressed upon in all parts of the world. "Service to Mankind is service to God" is the proverb highly prevalent all over the world. Humanitarianism is considered as service to human beings. The very term human denotes a charitable person. Loving and serving humans is considered of the utmost importance. Uplifting the poor by providing basic necessities like food, clothing and shelter is the only rule that finds its place in the agenda of serving people.

One example to inculcate the ability to serve mankind in humans is about the "Good Samaritan" who has helped a sick man and did not even care to reveal his identity to the people. There are various social service organizations in every part of the world which help the orphans, women, children and the elderly. They are served by providing material provisions like food, shelter, clothing, medical help and education.

Similarly, we find in Islamic history the best examples of love and compassion for fellow human beings. Sometimes we find the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him and his progeny) serving the needy and weak; sometimes we see Imam Ali (peace be upon him) sitting with the sick and the poor, attending to their needs affectionately; and sometimes we see other members from our holy Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) giving the same service to needy ones. Islam has laid great stress on helping the poor and needy ones. But we know that man's needs are not confined to just material aspects of life; rather, he seeks to fulfill higher needs as well, lik

But the main question is, in what way should the fellow beings be served, so that the service could be termed as service to GOD as a whole? The actual service to human beings lies in treating them as humans first. We need to help our fellow human beings in nurturing and growing their innate qualities which define them as humans. Man is different from all the creatures , and so are his duties and responsibilities towards his Creator. Surely, service to this special creature has to be by helping him understand and render his responsibilities towards his Creator.
