Huge fire broke out today morning at a labor camp at Mina Abdulla area where a large nuber of Indian workers are staying. The incident happened today morning at 7:30 when all the workers went for their duty. Around 20 rooms in the portable cabin where the workers are staying was gutted in the fire. Large number of material lost is reported. "I lost everything except this dress and this mobile phone" said one of the unfortunate living in the camp to Indiansinkuwait.com(IIK).

Fire service reached on the spot and is controlling the fire. Investigation is on and awaiting more details.

Witness Tuesday, December 27, 2011 TAG accommodation at Minabudullah . Over 48 flats completely burnt. No fatalities reported. two of them got injury on their legs whilst jumping from the first floor. It took over 2:30 hrs to extinguish fully. Good work by the fire force team, they could control the fire from being caught to the next flats or it would be another disaster in the history of kuwait.
Binu Thomas Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Very Sad News, This government fault , why they are allowing these type rooms for worker, this type of incident happen in 2004 or 2005 in KGL camp at amgara, people lost very thing except there varied dress , and funny thing KGL had compensation 7.500 kd only , my cousin was one the victim in that , I had seen burnt cloths which they had purchased for there children , family and each and every belonging , including there tooth brush, we can imagine the situation . May god Bless these company owners who sleep safely there bed room with family.
