With a unique slogan of “Dare to Dream”, the first Indian model school in Kuwait has opened here at Salmiya. Breaking new grounds in the field of education, Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS) has begun its operation with the KG Classes, said the management in a press briefing, at the school premise. The school promoted by Paradigm Pioneers Group, a leading business conglomerate based in Dubai, is the first model Indian school in Kuwait meeting the very specific requirements of a model school set by the Ministry of Private education, Kuwait, the officials informed.
Dr. Mohammad Tariq, Chairman- Paradign Pioneers Group and SIMS, expressed his hope and belief that Salmiya Indian Model School, will be a premier institution of its kind, in this part of the world in the near future, amply fulfilling the educational aspirations of the parents who bring their children to its portals.
“SIMS is dedicated to the promotion of holistic education, human growth and development”, said the Principal designate Mr Sanjay Yadav. In the sprawling campus, in the heart of Salmiya,the school boasts of the state of the art infrastructural facilities. Well equipped class rooms with smart boards for primary classes, proper ventilation and air conditioning systems are in place. Work for the football turf and swimming pool are under progress. Vibrant and Lively KG section has already started functioning. The activity space in KG section, is uniquely designed to captivate the younger minds. Audio visual facilities with an exclusive play area are the features added to attract the children.
The school is well equipped with a science lab and a fully networked computer lab. The Library has been built with a mind set of inculcating reading habits in the children. The school also has a spacious Auditorium and Activity hall and multipurpose hall. Other standard facilities include a well equipped clinic, mosque etc.

Beyond mastering academic disciplines, SIMS students will be taught to respect all people and things, to be honest with themselves and others, put forth maximum effort, and seek ways to support their communities", said the School Director Mr Anis Ahmed.
The school is going to follow the CBSE Curriculum and the registration is open for KG till Class VIII for the session 2012-13. Each class size will be limited to a maximum 30 students, to give individual attention to students. The school provides guided transport facility. All the school buses will be parked inside the campus to ensure the safety of the students.
The school sponsor, Dr Sheikha Maimuna Al Sabah, reiterated her commitment to extend all support towards the establishment of the First Indian Model School, in Kuwait.
