KIG - IYA "Talenteen 2009" gets a solemn start"

The educational and entertainment camp with Islamic orientation organized for teenage students by Islamic Youth Association IYA, the youth wing of Kerala Islamic Group - KIG, has inaugurated by Mr. V.K. Mahajan the first secretary - Information, Education and co-ordination wing, Embassy of India, Kuwait on Friday 2nd October 2009 at Rawdha Jam Iyyathul Islah auditorium. In his inaugural speech Mr. Mahajan urged the students to become valuable citizens of India by inculcating rich values and traditions of India.

Praising the activities of IYA-KIG he said that coincidently "talenteen 2009" is being conducted on Gandhi Jayanthi day, a good chance to remember our beloved Bapujee. The program started with recitation of Verses from Holy Quran by Fouad Shaukath, IYA president Anwar Saed presided over the function and camp convenor Firoz Hameed welcomed the audience. KIG President Faisal Manjeri, General Secretary Azad, Secretary Ashraf Mohammed were also presented on the inaugural session. After the ice-breaking session Sameer Mohammed took charge and delivered a wonderful presentation on “essence of success”. With the aid of multimedia he casted the success stories of great personalities like Prophet

Muhammed (PBUH), Abraham Lincoln, Edison..etc.
Rafeeque Babu in his presentation shared with students the great movie making techniques. Zubair K.A. delivered the Jumua Khutba. On Saturday during second day of the camp KIG president Faisal Manjeri delivered a multimedia presentation on “Soul of Education” and V.P. Shaukath Ali presented his topic on “Foundation”. Dr. Ashraf presented different aspects of “life line” with the aid of multimedia. Sakeer Hussain presented his topic “ You and the society” and gave a valuable advises on inculcating good morale, virtues and values in children’s life and to become an assets to the society. Khaleelurahman boosted the morale of the children by giving glimpses from Prophet’s life. We will be having the Final sessions and closing ceremony along with valedictory function conducted at yet another venue – The Darul Quran, Fahaheel on Friday 9th October, 2009. Ms. Bana Mourad, MARCOM, HOD of Zajil Co., will also attend in closing ceremony of the Event. All parents are requested to attend the closing ceremony.
