Electricity Cancellation-Does technician comes to disconnect ?

posted by Needy on Tuesday, December 13, 2016

I am leaving kuwait next month, 25th January 2017 .

For getting the final settlement money(termination benefits), my company is asking me to provide clearance from MEW by 31st December 2016(my last working date),after which company takes another three weeks to process the termination benefit money.

I wanted to apply for electricity clearance on last week of December. For the remaining period, I want to pay haris 5 KD , assuming the maximum bill which could be generated for remaining period.

My concern is ,If I take clearance now, will my electricity be disconncted physically by a technician from MEW ?

Anybody having info on this , please advise.

Jolly Roger, I have already searched forum and couldn't find any information , so please ...
