IIK Organizes Informative Seminar on 'Sustainability in School Curricula' in Collaboration with Amity University

In a bid to foster a culture of sustainability and social responsibility within educational institutions, IndiansinKuwait.com (IIK), in collaboration with Amity University Dubai, organized an enlightening seminar titled "Embedding Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Schools Curricula." The event took place at the Holiday Inn in Salmiya and was attended by esteemed guests including Principals, Vice Principals, counsellors, HODs, and teachers from Indian Schools in Kuwait.



The seminar by Prof. Elie Menassa, Dean of Amity Business School Dubai, highlighted the significance of integrating sustainability and social responsibility into school curricula. The session emphasized practical approaches to achieve this objective without extensive modifications to the academic framework. Attendees actively engaged in discussions, exploring diverse strategies to cultivate a socially sustainable community.



The seminar was sponsored by Amity University Dubai campus. Dr. Ganga Maddula, Associate Professor at Amity University, provided insights into the institution's offerings to the students from Indian schools in Kuwait and highlighted its accreditation by the UAE Ministry of Education and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, reaffirming its status as a premier international university in the region.
