Carmel School Kuwait Celebrates International Labour Day: A Tribute to Support Staff

Carmel School Kuwait marked International Labour Day on April 29, 2024, with a heartfelt celebration dedicated to honoring the contributions of its support staff. The event, hosted by Class X C, unfolded with a blend of reverence, artistic performances, and poignant messages.

The assembly commenced with a serene prayer and a recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. A prayer dance followed, adding a spiritual dimension to the event. A skit, meticulously prepared by the students, took center stage to illustrate the significance of International Workers Day. Through their enactment, they portrayed the invaluable role played by workers across various sectors, emphasizing the importance of dignity. The performance by the graceful dancers of Class X C captivated the audience, showcasing their talent and dedication.

The focal point of the celebration was the felicitation of the support staff, whose dedication and hard work often go unnoticed. Recognizing their indispensable role in the functioning of the school, they were honored with gratitude and appreciation.

In her address, Sr. Christy Maria, the Principal of Carmel School Kuwait, imparted words of wisdom to the students. She urged them to aspire to be employers who uphold principles of justice and fairness, fostering an environment of mutual respect and empathy in their future endeavors. The program culminated with the rendition of the School Anthem, symbolizing unity and pride in the school's values and ethos.
